This is an X-Ray of my lungs on the day I collapsed with Pneumonia while on holiday with kids, wife, sister and brother in law (who fortunately is a GP).
An ambulance was called.
I was pumped full of Morphine to help me breathe.
One twin son was heard to say to the other, "That man ith going to cut daddy'th head off"
Ambulance took me to Nottingham Hospital which resembles the USS Enterprise inside and outside.
V took kids to Belgium and school.
Pumped full of antibiotics.
Did not talk to any other patients in my ward (3 of them) because all were wheezing and coughing horribly.
Consultant saw me on Monday and agreed to discharge me into the capable hands of my sister (a practice nurse) and brother in law.
Improving by leaps and bounds.
Even my writing is wheezy and shallow.
